A few weeks ago, I got to spend the morning in West Chester, OH with this sweet family who had just welcomed their first baby into the world. I love how relaxed lifestyle newborn sessions are. My favorites shots are of mom and baby to demonstrate their bond. Doing a natural style newborn photo session it doesn't matter too much if baby wants to sleep or not. love to photograph a few stretches and yawns if I can. I know from personal experience how much of a blur those early newborn days become - and it happens so quickly! Smart phones are amazing and allow us to capture so many everyday moments, but pleeeeease don't let the only memories you have of those early days with your baby be smart phone selfies. Baby Robert Daniel did so well, slept a lot and peed only once on me. ) Enjoy my few fav from his session.
