Baby Mia was the model baby for my model call. I wanted to do a session where I could incorporate some of my fun new props and set pieces. One of the new pieces that I really wanted to make sure I got was this adorable baby bonnet. It’s so perfect for a baby girl’s milestone session. Well, we got some awesome shots of her wearing it. They turned out so great!
Mia is about nine months old in these photos. Nine months is a great age for a photo session like this because little ones can sit up on their own but they can’t walk yet. That makes it the perfect age to try poses like the ones in these photos. When we photograph babies before they can sit up, we get lots of tummy time photos and some on their backs, but we can’t do sitting poses without some extra help. Once babies start walking, it is so much harder to keep them in one place for photos, since they just want to wander around and climb on anything they can find!
This little sweetie melted my heart. She was such a happy girl full of smile. Just look at those adorable rolls and squishy cheeks. Cuteness overload.
