We’ve all heard the cliché, “a picture tells a thousand words”, but this set of images perfectly reflects the current situation.
When the ocean is calm and you can see land, it is easy to navigate true north; you can see the way forward with your own eyes, all you have to do is stay the course. However, when the tides of emotion are high, and the sky’s are cast over with fear, isolation, and confusion, it can appear impossible to know which way you are really heading.
In these moments of doubt and fear, you begin to question which way north truly is, despite what your compass may be saying. Indeed during the current pandemic, you may feel like your life has been turned upside down, by a situation far beyond your control.
The moments like these I always think about my fav King Solomon's quote: “Everything goes by, and this too shall pass”.
